We started Eastside Movers because the moving industry needed something the big national vans and gig-app crews stopped offering: a calm, careful, on-time experience run by people who actually answer the phone. That sounds simple. It isn't. Most of the moving complaints in Massachusetts boil down to the same handful of failures — the crew showed up three hours late, the truck wasn't big enough, the price doubled at the end, the helpers were day-laborers who'd never met each other before that morning. None of those things happen at Eastside because none of those things are how Tyler runs the company.

Every quote at Eastside Movers comes from one person. Every move is staffed from the same trained crew. Every truck is loaded under our standards, not a subcontractor's. Tyler is hands-on for scoping, planning, and quality. If something goes sideways on your move, you talk to Tyler — not a 1-800 line that routes to a call center in Florida.

We move families across the Boston metro, MetroWest, Norfolk County, and the I-495 corridor. We move small businesses out of cramped office suites in Cambridge into bigger floors in the Seaport. We move parents into senior living communities and treat the move with the patience the transition deserves. We service the Boston area, Franklin, and surrounding Northeast communities for local and long-distance moves. One Franklin crew, one phone number, one standard.

What "owner-operated" actually means here

When somebody says "owner-operated" in moving, it usually means the owner used to drive a truck. With Eastside, it means the owner is still on every quote, every problem call, every escalation. Tyler personally walks the harder jobs — the historic-district carriage houses, the four-flight Allston walk-ups, the senior moves where the family lives out of state. If we book it, we own the result.

Licensed and insured. The honest version.

Eastside Movers is a licensed and insured Massachusetts moving company headquartered at 392 Union Street, Franklin MA 02038. We carry general liability and cargo coverage on every move, and we'll provide a Certificate of Insurance for any building or HOA that requires one before move day. We do not display fake review counts, fabricated awards, or longevity claims you'll see on national franchise sites — Eastside Movers is a real Franklin business, with a real Franklin address, run by a real Franklin person.

What we won't do

• We won't quote you a low number on Tuesday and add fuel surcharges, stair fees, and "long carry" fees on Friday.
• We won't show up with a crew of strangers we hired off Craigslist that morning.
• We won't send a 26-foot truck to a Beacon Hill carriage house — we know it won't fit, and we plan accordingly.
• We won't put you on hold for forty minutes when something goes wrong.
